Our standard service hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm. Out-of-hours or urgent services can be arranged on request.

Yes. We provide repair, replacement, and full installation services for failed or outdated pump-out units.

Cleaning frequency depends on your kitchen usage and staff numbers. Typical recommendations:

• Monthly cleaning for offices with 40+ staff
• Quarterly or six-monthly cleaning for smaller offices or low-usage kitchens

We assess your site and provide a customised service plan to keep your pump box operating efficiently.

Overflow or flooding usually occurs due to:

• Grease or waste build-up preventing the float from operating correctly
• Mechanical failure of an old pump
• General wear and tear (all pumps eventually require servicing or replacement)

Regular maintenance and cleaning helps prevent these disruptive issues.

Grease, food waste, and other debris accumulate at the bottom of the pump box over time. If not regularly cleaned, this waste can decompose, creating unpleasant odours. Regular kitchen pump box cleaning and maintenance prevents smells and keeps the system operating efficiently.

Wastewater from the kitchen enters the pump box. Once the box reaches capacity, the internal pump activates, pushing the waste through a pressurised drain line to the main building stack riser. This ensures reliable drainage even when standard gravity plumbing is compromised.

The kitchen pump box is installed when the kitchen plumbing cannot connect to the main building drain via a conventional gravity system. It allows the wastewater from the sinks, dishwashers, and other kitchen fixtures to be pumped safely to the main building stack.
